Heya! I'm Henry Qiu, an artist and animator currently studying Animation at RMIT University, Melbourne.

I was raised in Shanghai, China, and at the age of five I read a comic strip for the first time. From then on, I knew I wanted to tell stories through pictures. As I grew up and moved to Australia I began to pursue animation as a career. The breadth of storytelling possibilities and the simple wonder of being able to draw a picture and see it move being me so much joy, and make me want to create art that brings that same wonder to everybody else!

I love animation and art in all of its shapes and forms, and I love creating art through hand-drawn animation and digital illustration.
